It’s that time of year 🍗🎁 Family gets tog It’s that time of year 🍗🎁 Family gets together for turkey and you are served up with questions about “when are you guys having kids?” You feel your emotions start to bubble and you think “UGH I can’t do another round of holidays while ttc” The pregnancy announcements hurt too much The cute Christmas family photos hurt too much Seeing pregnant family members hurt toomuch And Remembering it would be your babies first Christmas stings more than anything So what can you do?🤷🏼‍♀️ This week on the podcast I share my top tips for getting through the holidays without losing your mind and letting God create a sense of peace in your life during this season. 🔴Know that your emotions are valid no matter how you feel 🟢Dig deeper into why you feel the way you do ( try to get to the root cause of why you feel sad or jealous or angry) 🔴Pre-decide how you are going to say to the dreaded questions so you don’t let you emotions take the lead- you are prepared and ready ( because they are coming unfortunately…thanks Aunt Betty) 🟢Have an affirmation ready for when you feel that sting 🔴Get off social media for the rest of the year and do a Bible plan on the Youversion bible app instead And if you want to hear the silly ridiculous bonus tip, drop the number 64 and I’ll send you the podcast episode to listen to. #ttcjourney #ttcsupport #fertilityhumor

I know that sounds “dumb” ( see what I did there) because it’s not something new and shiny or a magic pill but weight lifting or strength training is AMAZING for womens health and hormones because” Help you lose that stubborn weight Help build strength and confidence in your body Improves insulin sensitivity ( which is a sneaky culprit to our hormones) Improve estrogen balance Keeps you from having to do stupid high-intensity cardio that makes you want to die So grab you a light weight pair and a slightly heavier pair ( or the kind that has adjustable weights) and get to work!
